TEQUILA XUL

Tequila XUL was born in my 2nd semester in the packaging course. My project consists of a brand of Tequila, which is made up of three different types of Tequila, Tequila Silver, Tequila Añejo and Tequila Deluxe, apart from that the brand offers a box of 16 small shot bottels and a pack of 4 shot glasses.

GOAL

The proposed objective was to create the packaging for a product of choice, create the logo/name and the brand concept, which should offer 5 different products.

INSPIRATION

My main inspiration was my home country Mexico; and also the little diversity of tequilas that exists in Germany. For the packaging design I was inspired by different aspects of Mexican culture, for the pattern I used reference of Mexican handicrafts and the dragon is a representation of Quetzalcoatl, one of the most important Aztec gods. I wanted to make all this attractive to a relatively young-adult audience (18-30) so I chose attractive colors, trying to achieve a neon effect.
