A project I worked on focusing on Packaging design and Branding.
The idea was to create a range of cosmetic products that would be Coffee-based.
KABO is born, and it contains a total of five different products;
Lipbalm, Facespray, Bodybutter, Bodyscrub and Exfoliant.

To make this project come to life,
I had to think first about the Branding side of the story.
To make it happen, you must also have in mind that
the Corporate Identity of your brand is a very important part.

The design itself is also a very major point in Branding,
since it will give your Brand a recognition value.
I designed each illustration to fit in the form of the bottles/cups.

For each product of the range, I did a research on coffee-based ingredients,
and tried to simulate what the products would actually contain in real life.
I definitely got to smell a lot of coffee and I can't complain!
You can slide here to have a closer look at each of the products illustrations.
I used a combination of both Serif and Sans-Serif fonts,
"KABO" Logo has a coffee grain integrated to replace the "O".
Sketch'it
A little collection of portraits that I made in my free time.
Drawing is a way i find to express myself, going through different phases in my life,
I tried different techniques, from portraits to quick sketches.
Here's a sneak peek of some of my previous work.

A profile portrait of singer/actor Jared Leto eating an apple,
The shadows were crucial to make it look a bit realistic.
An apple a day keeps the doctor away!

For these pieces, I focused on the emotions that were reflected through the eyes.
Making a portrait is very hard because you never get the exact emotion of the model.
And as they say.. eyes have a language of their own.

Frontal portraits of actress Megan Fox,
the goal was as well to capture the emotion through the eyes.
The shadows are what make it more alive with the highlights.
Stick'it
A selection of Photo-collages of three female Icons,
Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn and Marily Monroe.
Each piece was made exclusively with pictures of the respective Person.

Grace Kelly was an American actress which became Princess of Monaco.
I used different pictures with totally different looks from G.K,
to make a crazy mixture that (for me) represented various sides of her.

Marilyn Monroe was an American actress, model and singer.
I tried to show different sides of Marilyn,
and used different emotions to make a contrast.

Audrey Hepburn was a British actress and humanitarian.
I chose to stay with colored pictures because that was the style I wanted to bring out.
Audrey's emotions are so deeply interpreted in her portraits, it was fun to play with it.
